Whats The Issue?

Well Oscar doesn't get his cellmate now, but maybe, just maybe he will get a retrial. Won't that be fun.

Real fun is the upcoming race for the leadership of eThekwini with rivalry expected to generate some fireworks.

With the load shedding program a very large talking point and an announcement by the CEO of Eskom, I was enthralled. Tshediso Matona alluded to stage three following stage four and stage three being downgraded to stage two. I'm confused so easily, all this stage two and stage three is too much for my tiny little mind. The fact that Eskom management could not shed any more light on the matter seemed really punny to me.

We know that load shedding will continue because Eskom didn't do the maintenance that they knew was required of them. Here we go. It has come to light that Eskom saw fit to spend some R43 million on a Gupta breakfast for the family's New Age newspaper.

Rising to the challenge of logical thought DA Parliamentary leader Mmusi Maimane said that Eskom should declare the power struggle the are having as a national crisis. Well I think the ruling party using parastatals as a tool for political gain at the expense of the people of this beautiful country is another red flag for those who care about making our rainbow nation miracle a lasting effect.

Personally I think we should all be able to generate our own electricity and the surplus should be fed into the national grid and we should be able to deduct any surplus electricity we generate from our bill and even seek remuneration for generating more than we consume. The energy crisis we face as a nation would be solved in a jiffy. By the way a jiffy is one hundredth of a second.

And all the time the gold scare continues with more and more word getting out about Germany asking America for their stash of gold back, the Americans simply don't have it anymore, which panicked the Dutch government to ask for their gold back as well. Rumours of the gold sent over from America arriving in Germany only to be tested and found wanting, for its true properties of the shiny metal, and now what? Is it possible that the gold was fake? Where does that leave the gold standard and the paper standard and our house of cards international economy? Please Putin, don't pull another card out just yet
