What's The Issue?

Thuli wants more money but it is no surprise that the ruling party are not in a hurry to give her any. After what she did with the last lot of money they gave her, who would be surprised?

Wilmot James is vying for the top spot in the DA, in a race against Mmusi Maimane. Only Wilmot is up against a big hurdle, mainly because he has almost no public image to speak of and Mmusi has oodles. The ridiculous smear campaign using sex as a weapon once again is now nothing more than a damp squib.

In the ANC camp our president has been reported as "gatvol" and "hirritated" with all the xenophobia and has decided to nip the problem in the bud by deploying the army back to the borders to reinforce the immigration control measures we apparently already have in place. And these measures are? The King said pack and go not hack and go, so the foreigners will now all have to stay in concentration camps until they get their ride home. After all the noise and banging and clashing of symbols from the outraged community trying to bring attention to the persistent murder of farmers, on their farms, I was surprised to see such a limited response and then a break in the dark cloud with rumours that the United Nations is opening investigations into the killing of white farmers in South Africa, only to have the hopes dashed on the sharp rocks of reality when the 'Dubul - iBhunu', 'Shoot the Boer' song was chanted at a recent municipal meeting in Howick, traditional farmland in KZN.

The US Department of State spokesman, Jeff Rathke, has been almost ridiculed, okay completely ridiculed by the Russian Defence Ministry when it posted on the official Facebook page this comment saying "Another statement by the State Department representative Jeff Rathke has been passed to him mouth-to-mouth from Marie Harf, and this is vivid proof of the fact that not only thought is material but so is stupidity and that stupidity multiplies through viral mechanisms". It seems their attempts to get a missile station in the Ukraine will stop at nothing, not even the country's economy being declared the worst performing economy in the world, even worse than ours. That is bad.

As a blatant abuse of human rights is revealed in the use of American supplied cluster bombs in Yemen, 116 countries signed the petition not to use them, but yes, you guessed it, neither the US nor Saudi Arabia signed up for that.

A beautiful new princess born in England and what fairytale will she be living in, with the world going the way it is?
