What's The Issue?

Well there can be no doubt about the fact that Bashir the Basher being let in and out of our country with such impunity really makes accomplices of us all in his heinous acts of murder, rape, pillaging and plunder. There is a wonderful Afrikaans word, snaaks, which describes my view on how Bashir the Basher can come and go as he pleases but the Holy Man, Dalai Lama is denied access to attend a peace rally. Snaaks hey?

Well moving quickly on from there because it just gets more and more snaaks as it goes. Now with Julius Malema disrupting the Parliamentary procedures by constantly demanding that our president tell them when he intends to "pay back the money" turned our Parliament into a circus of sorts and the security issues of Parliament being called into question ahead of the next scheduled meeting where it is an educated guess that turmoil shall strike again and the voices calling for a security company to assist in making Parliament safe are justified. It brings tears to my eyes, where are we going? It is as if all the hard work done on the long walk to freedom is now being undone on the long walk back to slavery. Because when the electricity tariffs, the water tariffs and the petrol price and the rates hikes and the soaring cost of living are finished with us, we too will be finished.

Food shortages have gone global and a recent study shows that society could collapse as soon as 2040 if there were a production shock in food. With the drop in production in our agricultural sector we might feel it before then.

We may be well off with the rumblings of war growing louder in Europe, America's Defense Secretary announced that America will be stashing some hardware, like tanks and armoured vehicles, in around six European countries namely Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania. This in an effort to defend America? Oh is that not a good question? Because America is quite far away from these countries, so I am wondering exactly who are they defending America from in these countries? Oh dear, another stupid question.

Maybe we should jut talk about Greece and how they got into so much hot water borrowing so much money from the EU that they are now faced with a major problem. As the leaders of the EU hastily hash out a plan to find a way forward, a week before default day, (new meaning for the D-Day slogan, he he)

Anyway the Greeks will have to work longer for less in order to pay back the mess they have been lumped with. And we think we have got problems?
