What's The Issue?

It was but a distraction from the atrocities of our human existence, a brief respite from the negative impact we are having as a species on ourselves as well as our environment.

Putin moved to make it obvious that he would be caught napping with his military forces off on war games in Siberia. No, Putin is swelling the ranks of his military along the border with the West. Putin meeting with Netanyahu, that must have been a fascinating meeting, I wish I were a fly on the wall in that room. Ben probably looking for some reassurance that Syria won't or can't attack Israel. Putin spoke of stability and peace as common goals. Everybody wants peace in the Middle East, but not everybody wants peace in the Middle East.

Just call him Dave, he might be the Prime Minister of England but he is still human, the private parts in a dead pig's mouth story that set twitter aflame with jokes and ridicule. He should not have snubbed his millionaire Lord Ashcroft, anyway it has made for some entertaining reading I must say.

The Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban was just given permission by his parliament to use the military in their plans to deal with the migrant crisis. Rumours are swirling about, alleging USA and UK involvement in a spamming of tweets that started the migration process, "Germany Welcomes Immigrants" was a popular phrase in the campaign. The reports of migrants being beaten and abused are already washing over Europe with Macedonians beating the immigrants. It's a ticking time bomb and I suspect it has been designed as such.

Our president is embroiled in a Gravy Plane debacle, the most lavish air travel I have seen since a James Bond movie, if what I saw was Jacob's plane. Wow. I also want to be president.

Then there is old man Bob. So old he is even older than Victor Matfield. He is so old he can hardly stay awake throughout his own speech never mind read the correct one. He just sucked up all the gall and gumption to actually ask the West to re-engage his country's economy in his state of the nation address. Gone are the chirps about organ grinding monkeys and other such jibes that Bob is so good at. He cracks me up. Funny guy. The Chinese's fingers are starting to burn after Bob and his buddies running the state of Zimbabwe could not repay loans to the tune of one and a half billion US. Maybe the West wants to lens some to Bob?

At least we're not borrowing that heavily although those planes are expensive. At least the IMF has not put monitors on our government spending yet, because when they do we all need to have already started worrying.
