IMF Supplement Store And Coffee Shop

The I Move Fitness Story - Dwain Swiegers, Owner and Founder

as a Biokineticist it became clear to me that my passion in life and what I want to do most is to help influence and change people's lives for the better. I love interacting with people, giving advice and sharing knowledge on living a healthy lifestyle. When my Private practice became "fully booked" and I realised that I had reached the full potential of what I could achieve on my own on a day to day basis as a Biokineticist, it hit home to me that this would never be enough. I was not satisfied with being limited to helping just 10 or so people per day. I wanted to make a positive impact on the lives of so many more people and with that goal in mind IMF was born.

I always find it amazing how thoughts and energy will more often than not translate into reality. IMF is proof of this and just from me thinking and believing it would happen it did. Today my small private practice has evolved into an ever expanding high performance centre which boasts our Biokinetics, Physiotherapist, Sports massage and Dietetics departments, as well as IMF Private Gym and next to that the IMF Coffee Bar and Supplement Store featuring our branded gym apparel.

A second branch of IMF has also been introduced into a small 5 star gym within a private estate. My team of professionals run and manage the facility with over 2500 registered members. The IMF team also run and manage a lifestyle restaurant within the estate. IMF is expanding and digging into new avenues like our newest company, IMF Events.

I hope to start a fitness magazine and franchise the IMF HPC throughout South Africa. This is all only possible with a great team. I can honestly say that we have the best that KZN has to offer right here at the Ballito IMF High Performance Centre and private gym. Our therapists are some of the most highly qualified in the country and have produced outstanding results. Our team really live the IMF brand and are all achieving fitness and health accolades faster that I can record them all. They have found their passion and are dedicated to helping individuals change their lives for the better and to achieve their physical goals. With IMF you are more than just a number, we offer you personal, specialist attention and will go beyond the standard to help you recover, change, improve, learn or achieve whatever it is you are seeking assistance with.

I Move Fitness is all about health and fitness, living a consistently holistic and healthy lifestyle without obsession but rather with pure intent and a great understanding of a healthy body and mind.

We want to spread our passion for fitness and to see people looking after their bodies (our carriers for our minds), being able to move, move pain free and move well anytime and all the time.
