Through my eyes

Not knowing what to expect and arriving slightly late, I settled on my yoga mat and decided to just go with the flow. Three hours later I was beaming with hot juicy energy and felt beautiful for it.

Toni Childs was a musical genius when I was growing up. She hit the career wobbly when she found out that she has Graves Disease. Trying to preserve what health she had left inside her, Toni moved to Hawaii and started the process of healing, but first she encountered a wise woman who told her that most diseases come from a lack of self love.

Nineteen years ago and in the middle of her fourth album, Toni embarked on a love journey that took her around the world. Meeting with like-minded individuals, Toni preaches self-love and universal harmony.

Toni guided us through a series of self-realisations, plays and visualisations. Allowing our energies to manifest and then she sang her heart outnew compositions, new style through a brand new Toni.

It is amazing the power our minds have. What is even more fascinating is what happens when you spill a few seeds of love around the room with open-minded entities - the transformation and growth in these entities whom are touched by this powerful energy, is tangible.

Toni spoke of her journey through life, her journey to self-discovery and healing. We were all touched by her brave scrupulousness and raw honesty. Here is this famous person lying on the floor with you sharing her ugly bits, however it worked and soon we too realised that there was nothing wrong with the ugly juicy bits, that we were trying to preserve, that sadly were not serving us.

Loving ourselves and realising our inner beauty is the key to a healthy and happy life, Toni told us. Through her honest example and by sharing her life dramas, Toni was able to show us that by hanging on to historical 'bullsh%t', we were poisoning our souls.

Toni is going around the world sharing her messageshe does not advertise and it is all very last minute. She wants to connect with likeminded individuals and share her wisdom.

With her new record coming out soon after a nineteen year break, Toni doesn't just want to release music, she wants to help her fans release their inhibitions. It is all very beautiful and aspirational and quite clever, if you ask me.

Instead of just maybe thinking about buying Toni Childs new CD, now we are definitely buying one, because its not just about the incredibly talented artistit is also about a caring and compassionate soul who took time out to show us how important self love and self admiration is for our collective consciousness.

So my message for this week, to all you beautiful peeps out there, is love yourself and admire all your little quirkslife is too short to be miserable and sadwe only have one chance to turn all the negativity around and the time, is right now. Have a fabulous week everyone!
