What's the issue

Date: 2016-10-14

Its total turmoil out there. Madness is prevailing at an all time high level of insanity. For starters they actually issued a summons for our Financial Minister, Pravin Jamnadas Gordhan, to appear in court on charges of fraud. It would be funny if it weren't so serious. In a very short space of time the Rand plummeted against the dollar by almost 3.4 per cent and our banking index fell by a whopping 5.2 percent, which equates to around forty six point three billion Rand off the top of the market capitalization just for the six biggest banks in the country. They are accusing him of costing SARS 1.1 million Rand. WHAT

Rumours abound that it is Pravin's reluctance to allow extravagant spending from the Government coffers that has landed him in hot water, so to speak.

Then there is the battle that our National Hero, Thuli Madonsela is having trying to get Jacob to answer questions on the State Capture investigation that has been going on since March or even earlier I think. Zuma is stalling because he thinks that the incoming Public Persecutor, Busisiwe Mkhwebane, should handle the investigation because apparently there "wasn't enough time to conclude the matter properly and that there was no reason for the investigation to be prioritised".

Our Illustrious President has been accused of breaching the Executive Ethics Code and questions over the Gupta family's involvement in the State Capture probe and thier lawyer has cautioned our National Hero saying if she implicates them, she does so at her own peril.

Either way Thulis is out and Busisiwe is in this coming Saurday the 15th of October. Where does that leave us I wonder

Many are calling for the military to step in and save our Universities, or at least save the massive amount of money they spent on getting to the third semester of their 2016 year. Never mind the burning and looting that is going rampant countrywide. Where is the leadership Where

Then there is the total madness of the American presidential race. Can you believe those two clowns going at each other with personal insults when there are mammoth issues at hand to deal with like the threat of TTIP, or will that benefit America and only America I'm not sure. But there must be something much more important to debate about than what Donald said in the locker room, surely. Unemployment in America, who would have thought that that would ever be a problem Well it is for many Americans living on food parcels.

America is rattling their swords and seeking out military conflict with Russia, it's almost as if they will do anything now to get the war started, and it could be the Third World War that ignites over Syria. Wow, just think how many billions of dollars that will generate.

On another one of America's muscle flexing fronts Phillipino President, Rodrigo Duterte, a strait talking, foul mouthed President who is fast becoming a super hero after telling the EU "F#@% you!" with his middle finger raised on the podium, is now heading to China for trade talks instead of America.

I haven't even mentioned Wikileaks revelations about Hilarious Hilary's knowledge that Saudi Arabia and Qatar are clandestinely supporting ISIS, South Korean rockets fired at Chinese boats, and the US and Sout Korean Naval drills including an exercise rehearsing the assassination of Kim Jong-un. It's just crazy out there.
