What is the issue

As Mosul sends out a desperate SOS to the world, civilians trapped as a shield between the US backed Iraqi government forces coalition and Islamic State, are desperately trying to flee the carnage and terror being rained down on them. I wonder how I would feel if a US backed military force was bombing my village in search of what

As if the appetite for war was not quenched by the middle east and Afghanistan NATO continues its warpath of absurdity, US Army Major Paul Rothlisberger made the dubious comment that the build-up of troops in Poland, a US led battalion of over one thousand one hundred battle ready soldiers, was "not the entirety of NATO's response" to Moscow. What exactly are they responding to I have to ask

Is it Moscows opposition to the US ground based missile "defence system" (defence system must be said with a generous dose of tongue in cheek and much nudge nudging and wink winking as can be mustered).

Is it the increased number of NATO troops, say maybe the four multi-national battalions in Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia

NATO says it is because Crimea reunified with Russia, completely ignoring the fact that the puppet government they orchestrated for the people of the region, was not what the people wanted. But from down here it looks like NATO really wants Crimea and are preparing to take it back from Russia, by force if they really must, just think of the billions of arms sales it will generate, or by force because it is a good business decision. Am I drunk or does this read like hog wash

Down here in our own war, I was about to say that some commentary from the Government about the genocidal attacks on white farmers would be refreshing, however the outcome of the parliamentary meeting about this volatile problem was not exactly what I had in mind.

One Member of Parliament openly shouted heinous ideas into the forum, an unprecedented breakdown of decorum, or no actually I can't say that, anyway a disgusting display of hate and openly inciting violence and murder. The party responsible distancing themselves from the behaviour of their representatives should be enough, but it never will.

This brings me to the tear-jerking subject of State Failure. It seems that this horror of horrors slipped quietly passed most people's consciousness when our most trusted body in our country, the Judiciary, pronounced twice in one week, in a totally illegal decision. Twice the courts ruled illegally, and it is alarming to see how so many are rushing to hide this fact and how many are turning away from the obvious, hiding their gaze as if it will all go away by itself, if we just ignore it and carry on.

We cannot ignore the media churning with racial hatred issues the world over, causing divisions and rifts. The rich getting ever richer with a record new two thousand and forty three billionaires in the world today. Our children being fed into the cannons of war and the environment degraded with greed. When do we get to vote again
