What's going on with all the mayors How can the ruling party survive this mayhem, surely it is devastating, surely there will be repercussions

The eThekweni mayor is under investigation by the Hawks for money laundering and tenderpreneurship that was more than just creative. The toilet tender for twenty five million has come back to haunt her and the friction is so close to the surface sparks are going to fly if they aren't already. The Auditor General received death threats against the staff and so investigation into the case has been halted for now.

One spark that was squashed before the bullets could fly was the Mayor of Endumeni who was caught plotting to murder the municipality's speaker along with one of his councillors and a hit man.

Corruption allegations are being levelled at our own mayor and the list just keeps going on.

North West Province's Super Supra Premier, sent himself a resignation letter, so then as he was also the ANC's provincial chairperson, he called an urgent PEC meeting, which he chaired, and then decided not to accept his resignation letter and promptly put himself on special leave, appointing his co-accused as the acting premier. After a lengthy meeting this weekend, the NEC could still not agree on a replacement for Supra. Some say that it is the Zuma camp trying to install one of their supporters up against the Cyril camp trying not to allow that to happen again.

The Guptas must be smiling, the judge was not given enough evidence to hold onto the assets that were seized so they gave back two hundred and fifty million Rands worth of assets to the Gupta linked companies. One guess what will happen now. Only one.

Out there in the big wide world China is moving in on the failed attempts by the US to remove Bhashir and the devastation left behind by the illegal war they and their allies brought down on Syria. Now the Chinese are preparing to rebuild Syria with Yuan instead of the Dollar, all that work the US did and China gets the rebuild deal of a lifetime. The Yanks must be fuming, all those contracts not yet signed, probably never will be and who knows if Donald and Kim will ever actually meet or whether it is even a requirement anymore.

As we sit on the brink of global trade wars and the threat of China's renminbi currency swallowing the Dollar's share of the petro chemical industry, now that China is the world's biggest oil buyer, adding to the uncertainty of world financial markets, I have to raise a glass of Grappa to the Italians for preventing Carlo Cottarelli, a former International Monetary Fund big wifg, from being appointed as their prime minister. You see, that's how it is done.

Looks like Trump might get his war after all with the Ayatollah Ali Khameneisaying that there is no doubt that the Americans will be defeated and Donald will vanish from history. This after the American bully Pompeo made a dozen hefty demands and threatened unprecedented pressure. What's going on?
