What is the issue

Thank our lucky stars for the constitution and the constitutional court. It has saved us from Shaun the sheep Abrahams ever acting as our public prosecutor again. We also get back a whole bunch of money thanks to the constitutional court. Mxolisi Nxasana has been ordered to pay back the seventeen point three million rand golden handshake he received as an incentive to give way to Shaun.

I have faith in our constitution and now with the remote chance that the rule of law might get a shot in the arm with a new national director of public prosecutions. Cyril has 90 days to appoint the new NDPP. We could actually fix this country you know.

Hopefully our constitution will come to the country s rescue with the land issue. We have in there the right to land appropriation without compensation, it is all neatly packaged and ready for a willing leadership to put the land to the best possible use we can as a nation.

The ruling party, and therefore Cyril, are feeling the warmth of the fire they started with Cosatu with the labour federation threatening to pull their support from the ANC in next year s national elections if they go ahead with their planned massive job cuts and the most controversial selling off of State Owned Enterprises. Cosatu s general secretary Bheki Ntshalintshali said, We view the plans to retrench workers as an act of ultimate betrayal, especially after the government s decision to increase VAT after promising not to do so. This makes a mockery of the tripartite alliance,

Then shock and horror, the child abuse scandal of Bird Island reared its ugly head again, I always thought they were just rumours. Now three ministers have been fingered for this attrocity in a book called The Lost Boys of Bird Island . Then the author of the books turns up dead and everything seems suspicious, atrocious, unbelieveable. This scurge is unimaginable to me, the Jimmy Savels of this world, the documentary Screaming Silence reports of this same anomaly occuring during the holocaust. Disgusting.

Then the Rape Culture reared its ugly head in Rhodes University with repeat offenders alledgedly being offered a chance to reconcile with their victims. Am I missing something here I know it is a world wide problem, Harvey will back me up on that, but this just seems to be perpetuating the problem.

A small problem for the world when you consider that the US just ordered a new hypersonic missile in a desperate attempt to keep up with the Russian missile technology that is leaving them behind. The initial investment for this project a mere four hundred and eighty million Dollars. A drop in the ocean when you consider the US House of Representatives just passed the National Defence Authorisation Act for 2019, allocating a whopping seven hundred and sixteen billion Dollars.

Here is where we are failing as a species. We allow selfish self centered, egotistical, self righteous, self indulgent @^#%$@%#^@ s to fill the position of leadership. Lets vote on that.
