Private Property, on top of their game

Date: 2018-11-09

Umhlanga Entrepreneurial super couple Pranil and Desh Maharaj are young, ambitious and passionate about property. Ten years ago they opened their doors to Prime Property and turned an estate agency of just four agents into a super powerhouse, which employs nearly 140 agents.

With seven offices open so far and eight one opening soon in Ballito, Prime Property is a force to be reckoned with. Since inception, Prime Property has earned a reputation for professionalism, dedication, service and results.

We're built up of a team of industry professionals. A team that's skilled, energetic and passionate about property, your property. A combination of knowledge, drive, ambition and a promise to add value to our clients and commit to their needs have helped us build rapport with our clients and enabled us to retain their business year after year." Said Pranil.

"We believe the relationship continues long after the deal is done. Industry knowledge and trends, together with client relationship management is a critical success factor for buyers, sellers and investors." Said Dash Maharaj.

Pranil and Desh's success lie in their vigilance, learning, flexibility and change. They prefer to find ways of saying 'yes' rather than 'no'. They are not 'control freaks', however they do pay attention to detail. They are bold in their decision making, believing that there are two times in a man's life when he should not speculate - when he cannot afford it - and when he can.

"From the very beginning we accepted that success is never based on once off transactions; it comes only by encouraging the customer to return again and again." Said Pranil, "We value the relationships we forged with the developers and our clients. We knew that we were here for the long haul and it meant that our social responsibility and business ethics needed to live up to our ambitious search for success."

Today Prime Property is a thriving business specialising in sales and letting of properties, property management and commercial letting and sales. Their young and vibrant agents are not only gorgeous and effective; they are also focused and techno savvy. Each agent is equipped with his or her own transport and smart phone, which makes their response time fast and professional.

Prime Property's head office is situated in the vibey Gateway Precinct. Their office is always a pleasant buzz of activities and friendly faces. While Pranil takes care of property sales, Desh Maharaj is responsible for the rentals side of the business and provides comprehensive rental management packages.

"We are very privileged to be situated in this growing metropolis," said Desh, "Our customers are young, successful and busy, we provide a complete turnkey solution, taking the burden away from our buyers, our sellers and our rental customers."

There is a wonderful George Bernard Shaw saying, "The best way to forecast the future is to invent it!" Pranil and Desh have successfully managed not just to create a prosperous business for themselves but also create a business for their agents to continue thriving, through loving mentorship and dynamic training that each agent receives when they join Prime Property.

Pranil and Desh are a rare breed of local entrepreneur, they understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and are able to turn both to their advantage. Theirs is not a matter of analysis but of instinct. Make your next property movement a Prime Property one.

Recently Prime Property Umhlanga Master chefs at work. Three Teams (Team Red, Black and White) took to challenging each other at the 2018 cook off challenge hosted at the Hirsh Umhlanga Siemens Kitchen on Wednesday 24 October 2018. Each team had to produce a starter, main course and dessert in a matter of two hours. It was truly amazing to see such oozing talent and team work in the kitchen. The end result was an array of decadent and delicious cuisine with our team of judges really having a delectable time and after much deliberation Team Black were crowned the 2018 cook off champions. Prime Property prides itself in encouraging team building activities and there are definitely more activities to come in order to find an overall winner.
