What is the issue

So bad it has become, so horribly bad, the total lack of accountability is reflected in the seven ANC mayors, four of which were implicated in the VBS bank heist (because that is what it was), that refuse to step down.

What happened to the term treason Does that not carry any weight at all. We now know who stole money, there's a paper trail, the list of names, and yet not one arrest has been made. It's still a free for all up there in the top echelons, funds for social and economic development are still being channelled to nefarious entities that have nothing to do with social or economical development.

Eskom is staggering under a R419 billion Rand debt with estimates predicting it will go as high as 600 billion by 2021. Rumours that our best grade coal is being loaded by the megaton onto Chinese ships at Richard's Bay Coal terminal, and there was talk about increasing our output to our neighbouring countries like Mozambique and Zimbabwe.

Well I say if they can't produce the power, then they should not be allowed to prevent us from producing our own power. But then the conspiracy theorists will have me believe that that's not the problem in the first place.

Either way the operating profits cannot meet the debt repayment requirements, so it is effectively in a downward spiral. They're trying to save it, but a bailout seems imminent, and then there's the risk that the bailout money wont even reach the bank. Load shedding is here to stay.

However it is the Americans that are really scaring the sticky brown stuff out of me, the sneaky attempt to set up a permanent American military base in Orzysc, Poland, just 140 kilometres from Kalininigrad, has got the Russians seething, its is an act of aggression, a direct threat and one that Russia has warned they will have to act if the plan goes ahead. And to make matters worse they are calling it Fort Trump. With the tensions in that area already, it can only be a desire to cause a war that would allow such a decision to be made.
