What's the issue?

2019 came for me with cloak, and daggers drawn, and I have almost survived it. Only a few days left. Wow, 2020 just sounds so much better, however everyone is saying it's gotta get worse before it gets better. I don't believe.

Morality and humanity took it worse than me though, the acceptability of lies and deceit, the proverbial spin, the redacted version of events, the paedophilia rings that lead to murder, the debauchery of the elite exposed, the shame of poverty increasing unabated, the blood dripping from the slobbering jowls of war mongering power hungry politicians and industrialists.

The Festive Season is here, tis the season for giving and forgiving. Can we How do we forgive ourselves for voting these narcissistic imbeciles into power How did we ever believe their lies Are we so na*ve If we turn around now can we make it back to our dream Or are we too far from the shore Is it too late

The people have spoken in Brittain and Boris will give them Brexit and hopefully stop the march of EUnification.

The Americans trying to impeach their president, the farce of it, the gall, will we ever know what really is happening in the Ukraine

Our leaders are squabbling like so many turkeys at the feeding trough with no thought to the social challenges of drug abuse, a collapsing education system, the shocking rate of femicide, homicide, rape, violent crime or even genocide. Too busy grabbing at the purse strings. Nauseating.

Little Rocket Man just let off a few more missiles, just in case Trump was thinking he could renege on the deal like he did with Iran.

The Wild Wild Western Cape is making the Wild West look tame, the recent assassination of Hard Living Gang leader Rashid Staggie, right outside his home, and the spate of attorneys being assassinated, Mafioso style, is alarming. The root cause of the problem not even contemplated. The nauseating news of a third force being involved in the arson attacks on Cape Town trains. This is what happens when your government has no intention of controlling the state, just waiting for the fruit to fall off the trees and have others gather it for you.

However the world over telling it like it isn't, the Fake News proliferation, the attack on journalism and journalists, the blatant propaganda and obvious political leaning of news channels. The deluge of lies that we are fed on a daily basis, and then to top it all the expose of how mainstream social media is being manipulated to such an extent that democracy becomes a farce and moreover an impossibility.

The wrangling of super powers, the fight against herbal medicine, the erosion of the common man's freedom, it is the boilded frog principle, the only difference being that the frog didn't know it was being boiled. We have no excuse, we cannot say, "Oh I didn't know!"

And once all the people who stand for the people are removed, then the band of narcissists running the world will have total control. Don't believe everything you read. Happy New Year!
