Meet the Team at CMH Ford Ballito

Dealer Principal: Dave White

Leading the team from the front, as is his style, Dave White brings a lot to the table as Dealer Principle of CMH Ford Ballito. Dave started out as an apprentice motor mechanic, working his way up through the motor industry. Dave's experience spans multiple environments within the industry from Passenger cars to Premium Luxury brands and even the Heavy Commercial environment. Dave continued to strive, to go further, and in so doing he achieved a Post Graduate diploma in Business Management and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. "I embrace a challenge and look for opportunities through exercising strong leadership, Management empowerment, employee engagement and cross-functional teamwork," said Dave.

New Vehicle Sales Manager: Mandla Malaza

Mandla Malaza always loved cars and started his career in the automotive industry in the workshop as an apprentice mechanic. While applying his enthusiastic and diligent nature Mandla was naturally channelled towards the sales environment, where his people skills and positive outlook soon had him heading the department as Sales Manager. 15 years later and Mandla is one of the most approachable Sales Managers in the industry, his attention to customer satisfaction has every customer that he or his team put into a new car, leaving with a big smile on their face. "On my showroom floor the customer comes always first, and the good news is that our order books are open for the amazing new Ford Ranger, Ranger Raptor and the new Everest," Mandla told The Bugle with excitement.

Used Vehicle Sales Manager: Zakir Rahiman

Zakir Rahiman was destined to be in the motor industry, the family business is where it all started, so Zakir got in from a very early age. You could say it is in his blood by now. Zakir's positive approach to life was spotted by his mentor, Trevor Munsamy, and he was encouraged to join a Sales Cadet Program, where he thrived, regularly achieving Sales Person of The Month wherever he went. Zakir has a keen eye and vast experience in car sales, so you know he has your back when it comes to buying a pre-owned car from CMH Ford Ballito. "I know good stock when I see it and I only keep the premium quality cars on our list," Zakir said confidently.

Service Manager: Jeanette Pretorius

Jeanette is breaking all the gender stereotypes there are and it has become blasé for her to see the raised eyebrow and slightly dropped jaw of some people who see a beautiful young woman heading up a first class workshop, and doing it with grace. From a tender young age Jeanette was wielding spanners and working on a classic Ford Escort with her Dad. She remembers fondly getting a Mobil overall as a birthday gift and worked her way up through the ranks of the workshop, to the top. "I really love mechanics," Jeanette told The Bugle, "and I am a people pleaser and problem solver," she added, "Which is why my customers all leave my workshop happy."

Finance & Insurance Manager: Ntokozo Gumede

Ntokozo is a go-getter with oodles of ambition and the enthusiasm to match. Having worked her way through university, waitressing and studying at UKZN, Ntokozo graduated with a B-Comm and very soon was recommended to join the CMH Learnership Program. Ntokozo excels in her field of finance and insurance, keeping ahead of the game with up to the minute knowledge of the options and packages available to her customers. "I like to keep up to date with the information in the finance environment and am always looking for the best rates for our customers," says Ntokozo with a broad smile.

Ford Guest Experience Manager / Lead Master: Devashnee Govender

Devashnee was on track to a promising career in modelling when she was headhunted to join a prominent car dealership in Ballito. Her bright and cheerful nature dovetailed perfectly into the front of house of a car dealership. Eight years later and Devashnee is excelling in her career, her people skills combined with her newfound love of cars makes her the perfect candidate as Guest Experience Manager. Devashnee is studying her B-Comm Law degree and scoping the automotive industry for ways to dovetail her degree with her career. "I love working with cars, but most of all I love the people I get to meet around these cars," says Devashnee.
